Python Scout Rifle

The Python is a scaled down version of the Anaconda Heavy Sniper Rifle and its purpose is simple. It will do everything. Last Chance has removed every extraneous feature and made a bare bones, tough as hell, work horse of a rifle. The Python has only one purpose, to shoot straight no matter what. It fires a single flechette, using a combination of aerodynamics and power, as far as possible, as reliably as possible. Never one to discourage overkill, Last Chance also included a variable rate of fire. A selector switch allows the user to chose between firing a single round, or a three round burst. To preserve the power supply, the 3 round burst is not fired at the same speed as the Single round, allowing greater efficiency at the cost of less range and comparative damage.

Weapon Stats:

Weight: 25 pounds (11.25kg)
Damage: A single round inflicts 5D6 MD. A three round burst inflicts 1D6x10 MD. While this is double the normal damage, it is still considerably less than if the burst was fired at full speed (1D6x15 MD)
Rate of Fire: Single shot or 3 round burst.
Effective Range: 4500 feet (1372m) for a single round. 1000 feet (305m) for the burst.
Payload: 12 rounds.
Cost: 100,000 credits. Additional ammunition costs 100 credits per round or 10,000 for a case of 100.
