One Warrior System

The One Warrior System is the epitome of focusing a soldier's senses, his weapon, and the intelligence he gathers and relaying it back to his command post. The system consists of a multi-optic weapon sight, a video camera, a HUD, a Personal Sonar System, and a radio relay all being built within either the armor or weapon of the soldier. Everything seen through the Multi-optic sight is recorded by the video camera and transmitted to the HUD display of the soldier and to the command post for review and analysis by superiors. This allows the soldier a number of options not commonly available to him.
First of all, the soldier reduces his risks on the battlefield because of the direct relay between his weapon's scope and his visor. This means that the soldier has full use of his weapon's superior optics without having to stand directly behind the weapon. A soldier can now shoot very accurately around corners without giving up safe cover, he can survey his environment by simply waving his weapon outside of cover, and can receive orders and advisement directly from superiors who now have access directly to what the soldier sees and hears. Armor and weapon details (ammo, MDC remaining in percentage, standing orders, maps), playback of previous events, and what the sight currently sees are all accessible through the HUD and through the command post.
A version of this system was first designed as a prototype in the early 21st century that saw little battle use due to the greater application of power armor and robots over human troops before the coming of the Rifts.

Equipment Statistics:

Weight: Overall adds 15 pounds (6.75kg) to the armor and weapon.
Features:
*Multi Optic Scope: A rifle scope with the versatility of a MO helmet. The scope is about twice the size of a normal rifle scope and weighs nearly 5 pounds, (very heavy for a scope). Super imposed over all of the weapons features is an aiming recticle (a choice of standard crosshairs, a square and cross hairs and an illuminated dot. The scope provides excellent visual abilities in all light conditions, as well as targeting capabilities THROUGH flimsy (SDC) barriers.
Equipment Stats:
1. Infra red Optics: 1600ft (480m)
2. Telescopic Sight: 7920ft
3. Thermal imager: 1600ft (480m)
4. Laser Distancer:
5. Passive Night-vision: (uses ambient light sources for illumination): 1600ft (480m)
Size: 18 inches long
Bonus: +2 to strike on an aimed shot using the scope. No bonuses apply for when the scope is broken or turned off.

*Video Link: A pinsize camera built into the MOS records everything the scope sees. This link is the connection between the HUD the scope and the transmitter. It holds enough digital memory to hold 180 minutes of video within the system itself. Data is usually transmitted directly back and doesn't use up the memory.

*Transmitter: A short range digital transmitter relays the information back to the on-site commander, usually within an APC, for analysis and use. The transmitter has a 2-mile (3.2km) range. Relaying the information through more powerful transmitters can bolster the range.

*Universal Head Jack: A standard jack for either cybernetics or HUD.

Cost: 15,000 credits for the entire unit.
