GIDEON

Gideon Acherean was a wandering sole from the beginning. As soon as he was able to walk he wandered away from his parents home. His parents, Atlantean farmers from Alexandria (Phaseworld), did not notice the infant stroll way from their fields or stow away on an out-bound transport. The child soon found himself on Phaseworld with nothing more than a stuffed toy and the tattoos that were his birthright. Wandering still, he found his way to Japan just after the end of the "Dark Times". A boy of ten at the time, he found acceptance as the adopted son of a Samurai lord. The aging lord had seen all of his heirs killed within his lifetime and sought a new son to take on his family's name, no matter who it be. It was a stroke of luck since the renown of Japanese prejudice had bred an indomitable sense of hatred in his fellow students and they let it show. He was beaten and tormented on a daily basis until he grew larger than the other students and sought out revenge for the first time. Within the next year, four fellow students were killed in practice mishaps with a dozen more dying outside the dojo's walls in unfortunate "incidents".
His adoptive father saw the trend developing and banished his only son into the wilderness with nothing but the samurai code and a daisho to aid him. Gideon sought redemption in his father's eyes and began a campaign of vengeance in his father's name against the only local competition for the dojo, a ninja clan that ran the black market in the area. The clan was wiped clean and Gideon took over their businesses, explored his native dimension, and returned home to his adopted father after ten years, now a man of twenty-six. When he stood before the dojo's walls, smoke billowed from the ancestral home, his father crucified to the dojo's door with his own pair of daisho, an ancient pair that had been passed down through 147 generations.
Gideon now controls one of the largest criminal syndicates in Japan as well as ties to criminal factions in his native dimension and a budding interest in North America. He still does not know who killed his father and still searches for the murderers when not busy with more mundane affairs.

WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT: Gideon is never without his father's Daisho, Cane & Able. Katana inflicts 1D6x10MD, and Wakizashi does 1D4x10MD. Additionally when the swords are crossed and P.P.E. is spent, A wave of crackling blue energy is released inflicting 3D6x10MD. An earthquake erupts when both swords are driven into the earth and P.P.E. expended. All People in a 100ft radius fall down, losing two actions, and inflicting 6D6x10MD to standing structures like buildings. Gideon's armband is really an amulet that creates a magic suit of Samurai armor with 200 M.D.C.
