Jalen Vexed N.P.C.

Probably the closest thing Rifts Earth has to a World renown celebrity is this 28 yeard old Wilderness Scout from the New West territories. Little about his life is known before he gained the limelight as a tireless adventurer and brash rogue. He is one part Errol Flynn, two parts Ricki Martin, and a pound of The Rock. Without a doubt this handsome, debonair, swashbuckler is more than enough to send shivers down the spine of many a young lady.
Unknown to most is the reason behind his almost superhuman physical abilities, rugged good looks, and boyish charm. It's because they are actually superhuman, more accurately they are super powers. Jalen is a Mutant with a host of supernatural abilities. Beings from the Heroes Unlimited universe would recognize the "Vexed One" as a Mega-hero, possessing supernatural strength, amazing amounts of M.D.C., and a VERY healthy (and well-deserved) dose of ego.
The mission that brought Jalen to the public eye was one he was not even supposed to survive. A pair of mercenaries had hired the scout to bring them to the door of a large mountain complex hidden in The Rockies. The mercenaries knew the way long before hand but used the scout to go ahead and find any traps (they suspected the entirety of the trail was mined and trapped) not worrying if the scout found them through skill or by setting them off. Through his skill and dumb luck the scout had made it to the last hundred yards of the trip before setting off a trap. Actually it was a missile launcher connected to a trip wire. The mercenaries were glad they only paid half up front when they saw the volley of mini-missiles (six in all) careening towards their young scout, but were more than amazed when the smoke cleared.
Standing in the ten foot crater was their 15-year-old wilderness scout none the worse for wear, and more than a little pissed at being blown up. He charged through the defenses at speeds unattainable on most vehicles, while growing to thirty feet tall and slammed headlong into the heavily armored bunker. When the smoke cleared a second time the only remains of the entire mission were the two dumbfounded mercenaries and enough scrap metal to build a dozen suits of power armor. The mercenaries story spread like wild fire across the countryside and the teen aged scout was swamped with work, all the while denying the claims of what really happened that day.
His denial aside, most people that hired the man-child were not disappointed. He was capable of everything that the stories said he could, although no one ever saw him grow. Most people believe that it's just another embellishment that found it's way into the ever-growing legend. A legend that has followed him through a half dozen dimensions against a score of evil minions from every corner of the galaxy.
As of late Jalen has settled considerably and left his wandering ways to go into the hospitality industry. He is part owner of the Renfield Inn and Resort on Lake Medina, Texas. The Renfield is unique in it is a hunting lodge that specializes in hunting Vampires. Twice a week the Renfield's expert hunters and trackers will take a party of 5 into the desert to slay vampires. The cost of a visit is between 100,000 and 500,000 credits depending upon the services and accommodations required.
He owns a small house looking over the lake where he hold huge parties or "Raves" every weekend for the inhabitants of the Renfield and some special towns people from nearby Crossroads. These are incredible beach parties with dozens of bonfires thousands of gallons of liquor, and hundreds of people. All clamoring to get the attention of the charming host.

Disposition: Jalen is your archetypal Rock Star type. He is loud, clever, boisterous, and charming winning over friends every time he talks and he really knows how to work a crowd. He doesn't really care about most people or their problems and can seem a little selfish and distant at times but that has more to do with his immaturity and short attention span than any real lack of compassion. He has single-handedly built a dozen houses for homeless families around Crossroads. Despite his amazing fighting ability Jalen tries to talk his way out of most confrontations and has shown a great deal of patience with people trying to start fights with him. He has also shown a great deal of violence to those that persisted. It isn't widely acknowledged but very few people survive Jalen's bad side. Right now he is just young, dumb, and full of something and spends most of his spare time seducing women and partying as hard as his supernatural nature allows him to.
Experience Level: 6th level Wilderness Scout (he is considering a change of career and trying his hand at either smuggling or Professional gambler like his partner in the Renfield, Carter.
Natural Abilities: In addition to his standard Mega-Hero powers, Jalen also possesses two Major and three minor super abilities. His powers are Invulnerability, Growth (he never uses this power in public), Extraordinary Physical Prowess, Extraordinary Physical Beauty, and Extraordinary Physical Speed. In addition he can also Bio-regenerate 1D4x10M.D.C per minute.

Weapons of Note: Jalen always carries a greatest rune sword named Maxx that looks like a broken broadsword. It inflicts 6D6 and possesses All Sensitive and Physical Psionic powers plus Group Mind Block, Bio-Manipulation, and Psi-Sword (1D6x10M.D.) I.S.P. 190. Air Elemental Spells include Northwind, Blue Flame, Lower Temperature, Snow Storm (all at 6th level) plus Common Spells of Call Lightning, Time Slip, Summon Fog, Mystic Portal, and Negate Magic at 10th level. P.P.E. 175. Alignment is Anarchist.

Jalen only ever carries one or two other weapons. When away from home he'll carry a HI-80 Heavy Laser Rifle he picked up on Phaseworld or his own invention, the Mega-Comp Annihilator.
Armor and Equipment: He has never worn armor, not even as a disguise, and rarely carries anything more than Maxx strapped to his thigh. When expecting combat though he'll carry a variety of grenades and explosives.
Skills of Note: Jalen has concentrated most of his training on either making himself look better or sound better. In addition to the standard skills of a Wilderness Scout, Jalen can Speak Spanish and English at 98%, Literate English 75% (he's always reading), Seduction at 80%, and Communications: Performance at 60%. Through his reading Jalen has become familiar with a few lores and current events around North America. He's always trying to keep conversations interesting.
Description: A very handsome young man with sharp features and dark skin. His hair is caramel colored and hangs down to his shoulders. He is very well built, muscular without being imposing and is always dressed in the height of fashion if usually under dressed. He usually wears only pants or shorts when lounging around the Renfield or when partying, showing off his impressive physique.
Vulnerabilities: As part of his great host of abilities came a vulnerability that could prove lethal if it was well known. Jalen has a susceptibility to Iron. Any weapon made of Iron inflicts Mega-Damage equal to 3 times its normal damage. Jalen is well aware of this and has kept it very well hidden.
