Race: Lesser Demonic Beings
Level of Experience: NPCs are typically 1+1D6 levels in experience, player characters start at frist level and use the same experience table as the Dragon Hatchling.
Alignment: Any evil or selfish. Good demons are seen as mentally defective or sick, and are better off dead.
Attributes: I.Q. 3D4+4, M.A. 2D6+4, M.A. 3D6+2, M.E. 3D6, P.S. 3D6+30, P.P. 3D6, P.E. 4D6, P.B. 2D4, Spd. 4D6 (+30 when flying).
M.D.C.: P.E.+1D4x100 plus 3D6 per level of experience.
Horror Factor: 12 for a single demon. A pack of 5 or more has a horror factor of 15.
Natural Abilities: The Roa T'en posses a number of special abilities not uncommon to other demons.
Combat: Basically the same as humans only the Roa T'en have devised their own form of unarmed combat roughly equivalent to Hand to Hand: Martial Arts called Junta-Ma. The only difference is that Roa T'en start with 3 attacks per melee, not two like humans.
Damage: Damage is usually based upon the demon's supernatural strength with a bonus from any Bio-tanium grafts. The initial damage listed below is for the demon's natural abilities. The secondary is for damage added by Bio-tanium.
Magic: All Roa are natural Earth Warlocks. The older a Roa becomes, the more powerful they become, with truly ancient ones being par with the mightiest of sorcerers. At first level, the demon selects 1D6 spells from between levels 1 and 3 of Earth Warlock magic (page 68 of Conversions book1). At each subsequent level the demon selects 2 more spells. Choices are to be made from spells of equal or lesser level that the demon is currently at.
Additionally, once the demon reaches level seven it can begin to choose spells from common spell magic (found in Rifts Main and Federation of Magic). The character can still only choose two spells at a time, but the choices can now be made from either or both types of spells. P.P.E. is equal to P.E. (Physical Endurance) x3 plus 2D6 per level of experience.
Psionics: Minor Psionics only. Select two powers from the physical psionic category only. I.S.P. is M.E. (Mental Endurance) plus 1D4 per level of experience.
Description: The Roa T'en's natural appearance is that of a hulking monster with large wings covered in black feathers, a vaguely humanoid face with glassy black eyes, ram horns, long simian-like arms with four fingers, and clawed feet with two large toes. In it's human guise it is still quite tall (6 to 7ft) with short black hair, dark skin, and the same glassy black eyes.
Habitat: Indigenous to an alien dimension. Can be found wherever Last Chance can be found. Periodically can be found in the employ of other Demon Lords. Most (90%) of Roa T'en are in the employ of Last Chance.
Enemies: Generally the enemies of their employer is their enemy. Although, one of Hell's greatest wars was waged between the Gargoyle & Brodkil masses and the comparatively smaller Junta Ro.
A Roa T'en will always attack a Gargoyle or Brodkil above all other enemies when given the opportunity.
Allies: Most notably Last Chance or other less powerful demons. There has been rumor of Last Chance allowing a small platoon (20 to 40 demons) of Roa T'en into the fray in the NGR. It would be a good showing of Last Chance weaponry as well as a chance for the Junta-Ro to hurt their hated rivals.
Size: 9 to 12ft (2.7 to 3.7meters). 8+1D4ft tall.
Weight: Thickly muscled and stocky. 600 to 1100lbs (270kg to 495kg). 500+1D6x100lbs
Secondary Skills: The character also gets to select 4 skills from the previous list. These are additional areas of knowledge that do not get the advantage of the bonus listed in parenthesis. All secondary skills start at the base skill level. Also, skills are limited (any, only, none) as previously indicated in the list.
Standard Equipment: Roa T'en are minimalists to say the least. They carry only the rudimentary needs for survival and weaponry. Most of what they carry is just so they pass as human. A suit of light mega-damage armor, travelling clothes, a suit of dress clothes, sunglasses, cigarette lighter, a note book and pen, pocket mirror, and small personal items. Weapons will include one modern weapon and one ancient of choice.
Money: The ones on assignment are usually given a healthy sum in both credits and black market items, 2D4x10,000 usually for room, board, and whatever else is necessary. Demons not on assignment usually do not need money but all have a tendency to collect items either won in battle or as trophies.
